The Florida Keys Reef system is North America’s only living coral barrier reef. The reef covers 221 miles along Florida’s southeast coast from Key Biscayne to the Dry Tortugas. On this adventure, participants will board a dive boat and take a 20-minute ride to the snorkel site. Along the way, our knowledgeable naturalist guides will talk about the history and significance of the reefs, our underwater parks and archaeological preserves. Once there, we will set anchor and get ready to discover our undersea world where corals, colorful reef fish, and other amazing reef creatures abound. Enjoy the sights of Moray Eels, Parrotfish, Angel Fish, Damsels and many other species hidden within the reef. After your snorkel experience, participants will board the boat and enjoy the picturesque cruise back to shore. During this time, guides will interact with the participants and answer any questions sparked by the days’ adventure.
